Building Surveyor

Building Surveyor / Maintenance Surveyor (Local Authority) Middlesex - £320 per day (£83k per annum equivalent)

We are working with the Housing Asset Management team of a London Borough.

Working under the Smarter Housing Plan and Repairs Policies, they now seek 3 x Building Surveyors / Maintenance Surveyors / Disrepair Surveyors as follows:

1. Working on a day rate of £320 for a minimum of 6 months (with a likely rolling extension thereafter)
2. Acting as a lead professional in all aspects of repairs and maintenance across the borough's housing portfolio
3. Condition Surveys
4. Managing response repairs, cyclical maintenance, and major works projects, ensuring all works come in on time and to budget
5. Overseeing appointed contractors, including H&S compliance
6. Liaison with internal stakeholders as well as tenants/residents in relation to project updates and information
7. You must drive and carry insurance for business use on your vehicle

The suitable Building Surveyor/Maintenance Surveyor will come from a residential projects background and be familiar working within local authority on social housing schemes.

This position is offered on a £320 day rate on a rolling contract with a minimum 6 month term.
