Building Surveyor

Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary practice, is seeking a motivated and experienced Building Surveyor to join their expanding team in Liverpool. Due to increasing workload, we are looking for an ambitious individual to contribute to a variety of projects across the education, ecclesiastical, and commercial sectors.

As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for designing and managing both projects and professional work. Key responsibilities include:

1. Conducting condition surveys
2. Writing reports
3. Preparing funding bids and budget estimates
4. Drafting tender specifications
5. Managing planning and building regulations applications
6. Overseeing contract administration and project management from initial design through procurement and on-site delivery.

Building Surveyor Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience
• RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying
• MRICS desirable, but not essential
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident in client-facing roles
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in IT, including AutoCAD
• UK driving licence is essential
