Location: North London / Hybrid
Pay Rate: £41.76 per hour (umbrella)

About the Role:
A North London Local Authority is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team. The primary focus of this role will be on Legal Disrepair Surveys, overseeing a caseload that includes live disrepair claims, party wall awards, repair diagnostics, and referrals from repairs teams. This position will involve both site inspections and detailed report generation, ensuring that all work aligns with legal standards and meets the needs of the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage individual caseload of legal disrepair claims and repair diagnostics.
Conduct thorough site inspections and investigations as necessary.
Produce detailed specifications of works using the national schedule of rates and composite values.
Collaborate with repairs teams and other relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all projects meet the required legal and quality standards.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Demonstrable experience as a Building Surveyor, with a solid track record in disrepair case management.
Ability to write and prepare specifications for repairs, maintenance, and major works projects.
