Job description

We're working with a business who pride themselves on delivering exceptional Consultancy services across Glasgow and beyond. We are now looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join the team.


The Job:

The position encompasses a wide range of building surveying tasks, such as conducting condition surveys, performing reinstatement cost assessments, and preparing schedules of condition and dilapidations. Additionally, you should be skilled in project management and possess a solid understanding of common construction contracts. Demonstrated experience in developing and overseeing the contract administration for maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects is also required.


The Person:

  1. Minimum of 4 years' experience in building surveying.
  2. Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
  3. MRICS or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction standards.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  7. Proficiency in relevant software such as CAD.
