I am seeking a Building Surveyor to join my client on a permanent basis. As the Building Surveyor, you will support my client's continued growth in the North East and North West of England, with opportunities to work on a wide range of projects, including Technical Due Diligence and Forensic Surveying commissions, across different sectors.
Role: Building Surveyor Location: Northeast & North West Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Salary: Up to £40,000
Responsibilities
Assist with developing detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues
Carry out site surveys (including measured surveys, condition surveys & defect analysis)
Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information
Assist with administering building contracts
Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, PW work, dilapidations, Access Audits & FRA's)
Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external)
Requirements
BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
At an advanced stage for the APC Final Assessment with RICS or CIOB, or recently qualified
1 - 2 years' experience as a Building Surveyor
Ability to establish a good working relationship with Clients and colleagues
Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills
Good written & verbal communication skills
Full UK Driving Licence
