BASIC SALARY: up to £60,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Building Surveyor - Building Services, Property

As our Building Surveyor, your main responsibility will be to provide a full building surveying service to a range of clients across different sectors. In addition to this your main duties will include:

1. Providing professional building surveying duties including building inspections, acquisition surveys, dilapidations, contract administration, maintenance and refurbishment projects, schedules of condition, party wall awards.
2. Working on a variety of projects valued up to £1 million in a range of properties including commercial and residential.
3. Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new clients nationally and locally.
4. Develop and maintain an up-to-date awareness of all necessary legislation.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Building Surveyor - Building Services, Property

As our new Building Surveyor, it would be advantageous if you have worked on a variety of projects covering condition surveys, dilapidations, project management, and building pathology. We are looking for someone who is engaging and eager to learn.

It is essential that you:

1. A RIC's membership would be advantageous; however, support towards chartership will be provided.
2. Degree in Building Surveying.
3. Have a couple of years of consultancy experience.
4. Can confidently communicate with stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
5. Hold a full UK driving licence.
