Building Surveyor
Location: London (Hybrid Working)

A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy seeks Building Surveyors at various levels to join its expert team. Specialising in high-risk buildings across residential, mixed-use, and education sectors, this firm provides top-tier surveying, engineering, project management, and fire safety services across England and Wales.

The Role

Building Surveyors will work across advisory, consultancy, and project-driven services. Responsibilities vary by level:

Senior Surveyor / Associate

1. Leading projects as Contract Administrator or Project Manager.
2. Managing projects valued between £500K - £6M, including façade remediation, renovations, and refurbishments.
3. Delivering defects diagnosis, planned maintenance, party wall matters, reinstatement cost assessments, and general consultancy.
4. Knowledge of JCT contracts is essential; NEC contract experience is beneficial.
5. Opportunity to lead a team of four surveyors.

APC Surveyor

1. Minimum two years' experience and actively working towards chartership within two years.
2. Supporting senior surveyors in project delivery and consultancy work.

Location & Flexible Working

The role is based in London, with hybrid working and site visits as required.

The Candidate

1. Relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
2. Experience in surveying, project management, and contract administration.
3. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement routes, and technical compliance.
4. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
