About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a Tier 1 main contractor in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, large-scale education project, collaborating with an established project team and reporting directly to the Head of Building Services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) building services on-site, ensuring project specifications and quality standards are met.
2. Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to coordinate building services installations.
3. Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
4. Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Ensure effective communication between site teams, contractors, and consultants.

Requirements

1. Proven experience working with a main contractor or specialist M&E contractor.
2. Background in managing building services on large-scale projects.
3. Strong knowledge of M&E systems, regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Excellent project coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
