Position: Electrical Engineer
Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)
Shift: Dayshift with 1/5 weeks on call
Salary: Up to £38k - £40k per annum + Benefits

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
On-call standby rate: £190 per week
Call-out: 4 hours minimum at 1.5/2 time

About the Role:
As a key member of our Estates team, you'll deliver top-notch building maintenance services to our hospital and satellite sites. Your role will encompass reactive, project, and scheduled maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure a safe working environment at all times
2. Perform PPMs and daily checks of allocated plant areas
3. Maintain accurate records and documentation
4. Respond to and complete incoming work orders
5. Assist in installation projects as instructed by the Estates Manager
6. Support various projects as needed

Skills and Experience:

1. Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds or NVQ)
2. 18th Edition and Level 2 City and Guilds or equivalent
3. Experience in a hospital or similar environment
4. Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures
5. Familiarity with Health and Safety, COSHH, Lifting and Handling, and Fire regulations
