This is a rare opportunity to join an independent building services design consultancy in Wetherby as a Sustainability Consultant focusing on building services engineering.
While the business is fairly new, the company has deep roots and solid foundations possessing a full order book until Autumn, over a £1m turnover plus a remarkable win rate on enquiries.
Current projects include numerous hotels, both new build and refurbishment, a care home and several interesting commercial works.
As a Sustainability Consultant, you’ll be working with one of the region's better-known sustainability leads; if you want to be inspired and learn from the best, this is the role you want.
They undertake full consultancy work providing detailed analysis to inform design decisions and establish the sustainability strategy for the project as a whole.
They also have a team that provides compliance services across Breeam, LCA and Part L; it’s a varied role with lots of scope for you to develop personally and professionally.
You will need to be qualified in building physics or a related subject, be fluent in using a modelling package, ideally TAS but they will be able to help you convert from IES-VE.
Being able to use One Click LCA software, having Breeam certification or being OCDEA qualified will enable you to maximise your earnings potential.
