COM BSS Architect
Newbury (Hybrid)
6 months Contract
£350/day Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced BSS Architect with deep expertise in Customer Order Management (COM) for a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week on-site at the Newbury office. Immediate start date, preferably in April or May 2025.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in BSS technologies and a proven track record of integrating these systems within complex enterprise telecom environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience working with BSS and Customer Order Management (COM) systems in telecom environments, with a deep understanding of end-to-end order workflows including entry, tracking, fulfillment, and post-delivery support.
  • Skilled in designing and optimizing COM processes to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and enable automation, including the decommissioning of legacy systems.
  • Strong expertise in integrating COM with broader BSS platforms, including CRM, OSS, billing, provisioning, and inventory systems, ensuring seamless data and process flow.
  • Proficient in API integrations, cloud-based order management solutions, and workflow orchestration tools such as Camunda.
  • Solid knowledge of telecom frameworks such as eTOM and TM Forum, with experience across enterprise Fixed Line, UC, GSIP, and SD-WAN products.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to align technical solutions with business goals and deliver accurate, efficient customer order handling/ management.
