Broker – Entertainment, Sports, and Media
Location: City of London (with domestic and overseas travel)
Salary: £50k (Dependant on experience)

Are you an experienced Insurance Broker with a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients in the entertainment, sports, and media sectors? Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients in the entertainment (music & touring), sports, and media sectors, ensuring their insurance needs are met and client service KPIs are achieved.
  2. Policy Administration: Manage all aspects of insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Claims Handling: Support clients through the claims process by liaising with in-house claims teams and adjusters to ensure swift and effective resolutions.
  4. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify exposures and recommend tailored insurance coverage solutions.
  5. Documentation: Prepare and review key insurance documents, including MRC slips, Lineslips, policy wordings, certificates, and endorsements.
  6. Market Engagement: Stay ahead of trends in the entertainment, sports, and media sectors to provide informed and relevant advice to clients.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  8. Broking: Conduct face-to-face and correspondence broking within Lloyd’s of London and the London/UK companies market.
  9. Client Travel: Travel domestically and internationally as required to meet clients and maintain strong relationships.

Experience Required:

  1. Industry Expertise: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance broking, ideally within the entertainment, sports, or media sectors.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of insurance products and services relevant to these industries.
  3. Client Relations: Proven experience managing high-profile client relationships and providing outstanding service.
  4. Claims Management: Demonstrated experience in claims handling and resolution.
  5. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and insurers.
  6. Analytical Skills: Ability to assess risks and develop comprehensive insurance solutions.
  7. Attention to Detail: High level of precision in preparing and reviewing documentation.
  8. Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying and resolving complex issues efficiently.
  9. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  10. Teamwork: Collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
  11. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing market and client needs.
