Job description

This role will be responsible for proactively reaching out and working with our network of Elevate brokers. You will have the opportunity to cultivate and enhance profitable business relationships in alignment with AXA's strategy and growth plan.

Your focus will be on providing high-quality service to brokers, while striving to achieve key performance indicators and targets, including submission volumes, sales, retentions, profitability and underwriting quality performance across a range of insurance products.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. The role will be Belfast based.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Working closely with the AXA Commercial & Retail Team(s) in Northern Ireland to achieve performance targets and service objectives.
  2. Adhere to the control environment including underwriting QA, Risk, Internal Audit and Compliance environment to ensure a high level of governance within Broker area.
  3. Identify sales opportunities with Elevate broker segment.
  4. Knowledge and Understanding of AXA products and promotion of those products to brokers.
  5. Works closely with the Elevate Hub team in Belfast (collaborative Sales, Ops and Underwriting team) to ensure excellent customer service.
  6. Generate leads from Elevate Brokers through outbound calling.
  7. Through Relationship development identifies growth opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Ideally 3 years' experience in a similar role, with Commercial and / or Retail Insurance Experience.
  2. Experience in a Sales & Relationship Management role would be beneficial.
  3. Certificate of Insurance and commitment to completing CIP within 12 months required.
  4. Strong Relationship & Influencing Skills.
  5. Excellent Communicator.
  6. Positive influencer with the ability to interact with people from a variety of different seniority, cultures, and business disciplines.
  7. Excellent organising and planning with a keen attention to detail.
  8. Must meet internal criteria as set out in Recruitment & Selection Policy available on intranet.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.
