Role overview: Brand Communication Manager, 9 - 12 month FTC

To support the Life Channel Implementation Manager in the communication of the Strategic Brand Review (SBR) to all Life audiences, ensuring alignment with central brand messaging.

To develop and implement the SBR communications plan to all external Life audiences (advisers, customers, and corporates) and to work with Life Internal Communications to ensure appropriate communication and engagement with key internal audiences (M&G Advisers, Account Managers, Distribution Team).

Responsibilities:

  1. Development of communication plan for all external audiences
  2. Create and review with required stakeholders, key messages for all external audiences, coordinating with PR and Media Relations
  3. Work with Life Internal Communications to agree messages and ensure plans for internal audiences are aligned
  4. Create content for SBR for external audiences
  5. Engage with channel owners to ensure communications delivered to time (social media, website, marketing teams…)
  6. Coordinate with Brand Implementation Manager to ensure alignment of all activity
  7. Coordination of SBR TTM campaign plan and execution
  8. Co-ordinate with Digital team to ensure digital SBR implementation is aligned with communications messaging
  9. Measurement and reporting of communication engagement

Key skills and experience:

  1. Creating written communications to different audiences, including Financial Advisers, Customers, and Corporate Customers
  2. Translating core messages into appropriate positioning and language for different audiences
  3. Measuring customer communications engagement
  4. Writing for multiple channels, including email, web, and offline materials
  5. Excellent stakeholder management
  6. Strong project management skills
  7. Communication campaign management experience
