Job Summary:
The Branch Manager / Senior Therapist will split responsibilities between managing the day-to-day operations of our salon and providing treatments to clients. This dual role requires a versatile professional who can inspire a team, ensure top-tier customer service, and deliver expert treatments. Ideal candidates will have experience in both management and beauty therapy, with a commitment to fostering a warm and welcoming salon environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As Branch Manager:
- Oversee salon operations, including scheduling, staff management, and inventory control
- Achieve branch sales targets through excellent client service and product knowledge
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team, promoting a positive workplace culture
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive client growth
- Ensure the salon is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Address client feedback and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain financial records and report on salon performance to senior management
As Beauty Therapist:
- Perform a range of beauty treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly
- Provide expert advice on skincare, products, and treatment plans
- Ensure a comfortable, relaxing experience for each client
- Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment area
Requirements:
- Qualified Beauty Therapist with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a combination of management and beauty therapy experience
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Skilled in performing a variety of beauty treatments, with a preference for experience in advanced skin and laser treatments
- Sales oriented with a track record of achieving targets
- Friendly, approachable, and passionate about the beauty industry
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required
