Job description

Senior Branch Manager Required. Our client is a trusted partner in the world of real estate and financial investments. They are a London-based company with a mission to help property investors make the right decisions when buying or selling properties in the UK.

Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a highly experienced Senior Branch Manager with a robust background in acquisition deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and overseeing high-value commercial and mixed-use projects, as well as retail and leisure developments. This position requires a candidate who can lead a team, drive business growth, and ensure effective project delivery while fostering strong relationships with commercial agencies, brokers, and hedge fund directors. The role will also involve frequent attendance at property exhibitions and networking events in key locations, including North London, West London, and the Midlands (Birmingham).

Senior Branch Manager - Remuneration

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
Commission scheme (to be discussed at the interview stage)
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 18:00
28 days holiday, including bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the acquisition of commercial, retail, mixed-use properties, and auction stock, negotiating both high and low-value deals.
  2. Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are on track, meeting deadlines, and aligning with budget targets.
  3. Perform daily market research to track emerging trends, identify new opportunities in the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  4. Networking and Negotiation: Build and maintain relationships with commercial agencies, brokers, and hedge fund directors. Proactively negotiate deal terms and secure new acquisition opportunities.
  5. Ensure all projects comply with building regulations, planning laws, and other relevant legal requirements.
  6. Supervise, mentor, and support junior team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
  7. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management to ensure favourable and compliant agreements.
  8. Attend key property exhibitions, selective networking events, and represent the company at industry parties and social gatherings, working closely with office directors.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Extensive experience managing acquisition deals in the commercial, mixed-use, retail, leisure sectors, and auction stock.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market conditions, property values, and project costs.
  3. Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and cost estimation.
  4. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to a diverse audience.
  5. Proven track record in negotiating successful high and low-value deals.
  6. In-depth understanding of building regulations, planning laws, and relevant legal frameworks.
  7. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  8. Solid understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management, ensuring all agreements are beneficial and sound.
  9. Experience attending property exhibitions, networking events, and building relationships in industry settings.
