Branch Manager/Front of House

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager / Front of House will split responsibilities between managing the day-to-day operations of our salon and providing excellent customer service to clients. This dual role requires a versatile professional who can inspire a team and ensure top-tier customer service. Ideal candidates will have experience in management, preferably in the beauty industry, and a commitment to fostering a warm and welcoming salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As Branch Manager:

1. Oversee salon operations, including scheduling, staff management, and inventory control
2. Achieve branch sales targets through excellent client service and product knowledge
3. Lead, coach, and motivate the team, promoting a positive workplace culture
4. Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive client growth
5. Ensure the salon is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations
6. Address client feedback and resolve any issues promptly
7. Maintain financial records and report on salon performance to senior management

As Front of House:

1. Consult with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly
2. Ensure a comfortable, relaxing experience for each client
3. Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment area
4. Take bookings, greet clients, serve refreshments, and provide a high level of customer service
5. Liaise with other senior team members
6. Provide clients with advice on products (training provided)
7. Market and promote the salon
8. Sell retail and upsell treatments

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with a combination of management and beauty therapy experience
2. Strong leadership and organisational skills
3. Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
4. Sales-oriented with a track record of achieving targets
5. Friendly, approachable, and passionate about the beauty industry
6. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.5 per week
