The Royal Marsden NHSFT has an international reputation for high quality patient care, education and research and its partnership with the Institute of Cancer Research has created the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe.
The project aims to trial novel drugs and cancer vaccines for bowel cancer.
The successful applicant will work closely with Professor David Cunningham and with the newly appointed GI Research Consultant funded by the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK, Dr Hazel Lote. The supervisory team will include a scientist/clinician scientist.
There are several clinics in Sutton and Chelsea. The appointee will be allocated their clinics which may change on a rotational basis. There is no in-patient, clinical cover or on-call work associated with this role.
