Job summary
An established industry player in the legal and financial advice sector is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to manage client accounts and prepare financial records. This role involves maintaining strong client relationships across Europe, preparing tax and VAT returns, and collaborating with auditors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience, possess strong numerical and communication skills, and be proactive in their approach. Salary: up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

- To manage designated client accounts; to prepare and submit financial records and reports
- To manage bookkeeping for designated accounts
- To maintain strong working relations with clients in Europe
- To prepare and submit tax and VAT returns for designated accounts
- To work closely with auditors
- To support with CIS records (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping or in an accounting role – Essential
- AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified would be an advantage
- Fluent in Spanish, Italian, French or Portuguese to business standard (written and spoken) – Beneficial
- Strong numerical skills
- Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- IT literate with experience with Excel
