Richboro Eye Care (REC) (www.richboroeyecare.com) has been open since March 1990 and has over 80 5 Star reviews on US News and World Reports (Scott Zeigen MD). We need a General Ophthalmologist to do both medical and surgical Ophthalmology starting before the spring of 2026. This is the perfect opportunity for a General Ophthalmologist to enter an already established practice and possibly soon thereafter assume the full responsibilities of the practice, possibly including the purchase of the 2400 SF medical office and the entire practice.

Located in Council Rock School District, REC is the perfect place for a young family to raise children in lower Bucks County. The school system is marvelous and there are numerous eateries and shopping venues. Council Rock graduates have gone on to many Ivy League and other prestigious colleges.

The Wills Eye Surgical network is less than 20 minutes away where this practice does all its surgeries. Becoming a member of this surgical network would be preferred for doing surgery but there are other surgi-centers in the area. There are readily available Ophthalmic sub-specialists for those cases needing more attention many of whom are associated with Wills Eye.

This position is for a General Ophthalmologist who is willing to do the majority of a patient's medical exam and surgical workup. That said, hiring technicians to assist is an absolute option. The equipment available on site is an auto-refractor, Cirrus OCT, Lensometer, aging Marco VF machine and the medical record is computerized using our in-house developed software. Additional equipment purchases are always considered.
