BMS Project Engineer
London
£55,000 - £65,000

We are seeking a motivated BMS Project Engineer to join our client's team in London.

As a BMS Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role by installing and commissioning our clients' solutions. Your responsibilities will include incorporating software, graphics, installation, and commissioning of building management control systems in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-commission control panels and field devices for new and existing systems.
  2. Commission controllers, networks, and field devices to create a complete control system.
  3. Integrate third-party systems into existing systems.
  4. Write and commission controller software, including Graphical User Interface.
  5. Handover and demonstrate completed systems to customers/consultants.
  6. Design and manage installations with the support of Project Managers.
  7. Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers.
  8. Configure and commission graphics, and document commissioning progress, site reports, and assist with O&M manuals.
  9. Conduct site surveys and provide accurate pre-sales information to our internal bid team.
  10. Assist the Account Manager and Bid Team in preparing sales offers and complex system proposals.
  11. Support sales to project handovers with the Account Manager & Bid Team.

Qualifications for Success:
  1. Background in electrical engineering or a related subject due to the nature of the role.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; however, on-the-job training will be provided.
  3. Knowledge of controls principles for HVAC.
  4. Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  7. Fluent in written and verbal English.
  8. Possess a full driving license.
