Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with requirement to be on call for emergencies

Are you an experienced BMS Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work on critical infrastructure? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your technical expertise and problem-solving skills make a real impact?

In this role working as part of the electrical team of 8, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Building Management Systems (BMS) across RAF Lakenheath, Feltwell, and Mildenhall. You will perform system diagnostics, software updates, and hardware replacements on industry-leading BMS platforms, including Schneider, Sigma, Trend, and Siemens.

A key part of your role will be responding swiftly to emergency service requests and providing rapid, effective solutions while collaborating with clients to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.

Compliance with safety protocols and industry standards is essential, and staying up to date with the latest innovations in BMS technology will be crucial. Additionally, you will take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support.

What you’ll need:

To be successful in this role, you will need a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification or an equivalent certification in Electrical Building Services Engineering, along with a BCIA Technical Certificate or relevant industry experience. You must be 18th Edition Qualified and have proven experience working with BMS, BEMS, Schneider, Sigma, Trend, and Siemens systems. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills are essential, as this is a client-facing role requiring a high level of professionalism.
