BMS Controls Engineer

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced BMS / Controls engineer to provide PPM and reactive maintenance services to a large scale facility in the Wirral area. Working on Building Control systems and Building & Energy Management systems (Trend).
The role is a permanent position paying a basic from 45-50k plus package. Mon-Fri circa 40 hours per week.

BMS Controls Engineer Description:

1. Complete performance reviews and staff training analysis as well as on-site inspections.
2. To undertake Controls and Instrumentation PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the help desk within set time frames.
3. To provide technical support and liaison for the customer.
4. Monitoring and interrogation of the BEMS.
5. Modification to building services control and instrumentation.
6. Validation work.
7. Modify drawings and documentation.
8. Installation of new instrumentation.
9. Operate and maintain BEMS.
10. To implement upgrade roll-outs.
11. To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
12. To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.

BMS Engineer must have:

1. All relevant trade qualifications.
2. Experience of fitting and maintaining BEMS systems on large scale facilities and estates.
3. Ideally experience of the below:
4. Trend System Engineering.
5. Trend Operators.
6. Trend IQ Engineering.
7. Trend Power tool.
8. Trend SET.
9. Ability to commission BMS.
