About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer with hands-on expertise in Siemens or Trend systems to join a team on a 6-month contract in Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity to work on state-of-the-art BMS systems, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of building infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install, commission, and maintain Siemens or Trend building management systems.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical faults and ensure system functionality.
  3. Carry out scheduled and unscheduled system upgrades and modifications.
  4. Provide detailed documentation, including reports and operational procedures.
  5. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure systems meet performance requirements.
  6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience with Siemens Desigo or Trend 963/ IQVision systems.
  2. Strong understanding of BMS engineering principles, controls, and instrumentation.
  3. Proficiency in system diagnostics, fault finding, and commissioning.
  4. Relevant qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  6. Strong communication and documentation skills.
Desirable Skills
  1. Experience with integration of third-party systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
  2. Familiarity with energy efficiency solutions and optimization strategies.
  3. Certifications in Siemens or Trend BMS systems.
