Blockchain Engineer

Are you a passionate and skilled engineer looking to develop blockchain-based solutions across the web3 ecosystem? This remote-first role offers the opportunity to work with a globally distributed team of talented engineers and researchers, alongside leading industry partners. You'll be involved in developing applications spanning from protocol level engineering to DApps and Enterprise/Financial applications that integrate with blockchain infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build applications on various blockchains, with a focus on EVM compatible chains
• Develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts
• Debug and optimize smart contracts
• Work on full-stack engineering solutions integrating with or built on top of blockchains
• Extract and process data from the blockchain
• Develop scripts & tools for blockchain interaction automation/improvement
• Collaborate with internal and external teams
• Stay updated with new developments in the blockchain space

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like C# and Python
• Ability to implement efficient algorithms and design complex data structures
• Understanding of good software architecture and engineering process
• Proficient in Solidity programming language with experience in developing complex smart contracts
• Deep understanding of Ethereum blockchain architecture
• Familiarity with DeFi landscape
• Experience in developing off-chain applications integrating with web3 protocols

Other Competencies:

• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in English

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge in Traditional Finance and major use cases such as Tokenisation
• Experience with layer-2 solutions like Starknet, Optimism, zkSync, and Arbitrum
• Familiarity with blockchain data analytics tools like Dune and Nansen
• Knowledge of cryptographic primitives
• Front-end development experience with frameworks like React or Angular
• Familiarity with smart contracts auditing tooling/techniques
• Infrastructure / DevOps experience
• Ethereum core development experience
