Are you a passionate Biomedical Scientist ready to advance your career? Join our innovative team at Peterborough City Hospital, part of the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.
In this role, you’ll work with cutting-edge technology, contribute to high-impact microbiology, and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment. Our UKAS-accredited Microbiology Department processes over half a million samples annually, covering Bacteriology, Parasitology, Mycology, Serology, and a specialist Diagnostic Molecular Testing Suite.
This position requires participation in a 24/7 shift system, including night shifts, to ensure continuous service delivery.
To be eligible, you must be HCPC registered (or in the process of registration) as a Biomedical Scientist, with experience in a routine Microbiology Laboratory. Proficiency in UKAS standards, excellent computer literacy, and a keen attention to detail are essential. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality service.
