The Role:

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing new products and maintaining the current product range. The job duties of a Biomedical Engineer involve designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge medical accessories used during surgical procedures.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. The design of new products for the company's product portfolio
  2. Providing technical expertise to the commercial team in communication to and from customers
  3. The creation of technical documentation and product technical files which conform to all regulatory requirements
  4. Chair project and stakeholder meetings as and when required
  5. Conduct and oversee when required product verification and validation activities

What you need?

Preferably degree educated in Biomedical Engineering or a relevant engineering / scientific subject or relative industry experience.
More than 3 years' experience of medical device product development would be preferable.
Working knowledge of relevant medical device regulatory requirements (ISO13485/21CFR820, IEC 60601 etc).
