Job Description:

Wayman Group is seeking a dynamic Biology Teacher to join the team at a fantastic school in Barnet. This full-time position will commence in September, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to providing an exceptional education to students. As a Biology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of biology, helping them develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, conducting experiments and practical demonstrations, and assessing student learning progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for teaching and nurturing student potential.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons that inspire and challenge students
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
Assess and provide feedback on student progress and achievement
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school's Biology program and initiatives
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
