This prestigious school based in North West London urgently seeks an A-level Biology Teacher. The department is considered the strongest in the school, and we have successfully provided staff for the past 15 years, including numerous full-time Science Teachers who have secured permanent roles through Tradewind Recruitment.

The school is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk from several major stations, making it easily accessible from various parts of London.

A bit about the position:

The position involves teaching Biology to A-level (60% of the timetable) and General Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 (40% of the timetable). Strong experience in teaching AS and A2 Biology is essential, as many students choose to study this subject at A-level before pursuing University courses at Oxbridge and future Science careers.

We are looking for:

• A full-time Biology Teacher who can teach across all Key Stages and has excellent subject knowledge; proven ability at delivering strong A-level results is essential.
• A committed practitioner who aims to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning.
• A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the subject delivery through inventive approaches, including curriculum design and the use of ICT.
• A candidate who may be interested in taking on leadership responsibilities in the future, as the school is known for internal promotions.
