A Biology Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School in South London. This position will be full time and long term with scope to go permanent.

If appointed as a Biology Teacher you will be required to teach KS3 to KS4 Science classes. The rates of pay for this position will range from £190 to £300 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted, with Personal Development rated as 'Outstanding'. It has state of the art buildings, providing an inspiring work environment. The team is focused on ensuring a smooth transition for pupils completing their GCSEs and moving on to A Levels.

MFL is the school's specialism, with Chinese and English taught to all Key Stage 3 pupils. SEN support is prioritized, aiming to provide all pupils with an ambitious and rich curriculum. Literacy is highly valued, with efforts made to encourage reading outside of school.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from recently qualified or experienced Biology Teachers, including British trained and overseas trained candidates. UK QTS is essential; applicants without it will not be considered.

Applicants must have the following to be shortlisted:

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience as a Biology Teacher in UK schools
