What You’ll Do:
Dive into client documentation (SQs, ITTs, RFQs) to decode exactly what they're looking for.
Craft persuasive bids and proposal documents, making technical jargon resonate with clarity and conviction.
Collaborate closely with engineers, estimators, and project leaders to build compelling case studies and technical submissions.
Streamline and enhance our bid processes, proactively implementing improvements and new estimating technologies.
Stay ahead by sourcing and identifying lucrative contracts and opportunities within public sector frameworks.
Your Toolkit:
Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in bid writing and estimating, especially within electrical engineering or construction industries.
Solid grasp of electrical engineering concepts, regulations (BS7671), and best practices in estimating.
Superb communication skills with the finesse to translate complex ideas into compelling proposals.
Sharp organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and comfortable thriving under deadlines.
Tech-savvy and confident using Microsoft Office Suite, bid platforms, and estimating software.
Bonus Points:
Experience with public sector contracts or familiarity with CDM regulations.
APMP certification or equivalent.
Electrical estimating experience.
