I am currently working with a National Tier 1 contractor, as they seek to appoint a Bid Writer to join the team.

This role will allow the successful candidate an opportunity to work with an organisation that delivers a wide range of high profile construction projects within the education, retail, leisure, commercial and industrial sectors.

Duties:

1. Attend start-up meetings with the production team to agree strategy, content and actions
2. Provide written content for business-critical public sector national frameworks
3. Dissect questions and produce answer plans to maximise relevant information extracted from team members
4. Manage some key regional bid team relationships and share key information with the central team
5. Writing support on key target bids
6. Collaborate effectively as part of a variety of UK-wide bid and proposal teams

What are they looking for?

1. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines concurrently
2. Experience as the Bid Writer with a regional / national contractor
3. The ability to communicate complex ideas
4. Attention to detail with the ability to secure timely, accurate and relevant support from colleagues to answer questions
