Bid Coordinator / Bid Writer – Building / Construction - (Birmingham / Solihull / plus some REMOTE WORKING)
Company:
A growing regional building contractor with a longstanding history and a strong pipeline of work on predominately public sector building projects (Health, Education, Blue light etc). Previous experience in these sectors would be ideal but not essential.
Location:
Mix of office (North Solihull - Near the NEC / Birmingham airport) and also some remote work (Likely 2 -3 days per week, plus flexible start / finish times).
Role:
Seeking a Bid Coordinator / Proposals Coordinator / Bid Writer. This is an opportunity to play a key role working closely with the regional manager to help the company win more bids. As the sole Bid Coordinator / Writer for the region, it’s an exciting opportunity to make the role your own and make a big contribution to the success of the region.
Mix of Bid Coordination and Bid Writing duties. While you do not need a long-term track record as a bid writer, you must be up for the challenge, have good literacy / communication skills, and be able to sit with technical teams to take down information verbally and convert it into well-written content for the bid that is also easy reading for the client. Some experience with Indesign would be advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
