Projects located: UK, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Salary: £60,000–£75,000 + Performance-Related Bonus.

ABOUT THE PRACTICE

My client is a leading international creative practice specialising in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects with offices in London and New York. They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Bid Manager to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the bidding function as the company brings it in-house, driving the strategic and operational processes behind securing new business.

The Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end bid lifecycle, working closely with the Marketing Manager and other stakeholders to deliver compelling, high-quality submissions that maximise win rates.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Working with the Principal and Senior Team and marketing manager to deliver high-quality bid documents, PQQs, case studies, competitions entries, award submissions and newsletters
  • Responsible for writing content for use in the bids, presentations and all supporting documentation, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach
  • Chair bid planning meetings and lead bid/no-bid decision-making processes
  • Conduct research and evaluation of bid opportunities, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Identifying tender opportunities and monitoring tender portals and notices, and present relevant opportunities to the management team
  • Maintain a detailed bid library to support future opportunities.
  • Reviewing competitions lists and compiling PQQs, tenders, proposals, presentations.
  • Analyse feedback from previous bids to drive continuous improvement in submissions.
  • The role has some overlap in our marketing activities

SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in bid management, ideally within high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or related sectors (experience in energy efficiency or construction is advantageous).
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce compelling narratives under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills to juggle multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Experience in bid writing within the architectural industry for at least 4 years.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and InDesign.
  • Autonomous working and proactive.
