Bid Manager

Elvet Recruitment is working with a leader within the renewable energy supply market looking for a Bid Manager to join their team in the county of Durham area.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Bid Writing
2. Bid reviews
3. Overall responsibility for the quality of bid submissions
4. Conduct interviews with key members of staff for each bid and external stakeholders where necessary
5. Mentor and manage bid writers
6. Managing formatting of documentation for inclusion in bids using: Excel, Word (Headers & Footers), Powerpoint, Adobe
7. Maintenance of Contract Database
8. Management of the password/portal spreadsheet

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience within public sector procurement (Social housing, local Authority, capital works)
2. Knowledge on social value and how to get economically score well
3. Knowledge on frameworks and how they work
