Job description

This is a newly created role to join our expanding data team at one of Yorkshire’s fastest growing groups. There is a growing requirement for accurate, consistent MI across the business. Ensuring their Data Warehouse is efficiently built, continually developed and maintained effectively is key to delivering this.

Industry: Financial Services
Location: Leeds (East)
Salary: £45K (dependant on experience) and competitive benefits package
Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
  • Working with stakeholders (primarily the wider BI and IT teams) to illicit clear requirements and understand their impact on the wider Warehouse structure.
  • Building and maintaining the Data Warehouse tables, stored procedures, views etc.
  • Documenting changes and maintaining relevant Metadata in relation to the warehouse.
  • Acts as a conduit to understand the impact of wider business changes on the warehouse and data available for reporting.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business.
Skills and Experience Requirements
  • MSSQL (SSIS, SSMS)
  • Tableau (desirable)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
