As part of the Data & MI team, you will be providing data analysis that enables compliance with all data policies & standards, the provision of data in order to support business and IT solutions, as well as delivering data & reporting requirements. You will also be responsible for designing & developing solutions through build, test & implementation phases. This will include ongoing business support. The role requires engagement with Data & MI team members as well as business stakeholders to understand our data ecosystem and the QBE EO business.

The Opportunity
We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data Centre of Excellence team on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll play a key role in ensuring data compliance, supporting business and IT solutions, and delivering data insights. You'll design and develop data solutions through all stages, from build to implementation, while providing ongoing business support. You'll also collaborate with team members and business stakeholders to understand and enhance our data ecosystem and the QBE EO business.
Your new role
Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you'll be working closely with our wider Data Centre of Excellence team and have the opportunity to work on some exciting projects and support our BAU activity. We're in the process of migrating to an Azure data warehouse, have recently launched ThoughtSpot, and are continuing to push innovation in the team by looking at new tools and methods for delivering data to the business. In this role, you'll transform business needs into technical data requirements, driving the design and implementation of cutting-edge MI solutions. Using Agile SCRUM methodology, you'll work closely with stakeholders to deliver iterative improvements while ensuring consumers are well-trained and engaged. With your expertise in data and technology, you'll create impactful solutions, from data modelling to visualizations and multi-source integrations, enhancing both strategic and tactical decision-making.

About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic, data-oriented individual to help our dynamic and evolving team grow, meet the challenges of the business, and shape new ways of working through innovation. We would love to hear from you should you have great technical BI/MI experience, specifically with SQL and data visualization tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
