Job description

Our client is a world-renowned player in the investment management sector. They are now seeking a Best Execution Analyst to join their Investment Support team on a permanent basis.

The Best Execution Analyst will be primarily working alongside the TCA Analyst providing analysis to the dealing desk.

The Best Execution Analyst will take responsibility for the following duties:

• Support the production of the firm’s TCA provision for the Dealing Oversight Committee and Head of Dealing
• Continue to develop and enhance current capabilities so that they may be maintained with less effort going forward
• Ensure solutions are comprehensive, robust and well-documented
• Production of reporting as required on a periodic and ad hoc basis
• Daily outlier reporting for Equity and Fixed Income
• Weekly outlier reporting for Convertible Bonds
• Monthly TCA analysis across Equity, Fixed Income and Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD)
• Attend periodic meetings with vendors
• Attend meetings of the Dealing Oversight Committee and other internal meetings

The Best Execution Analyst will meet the following criteria:

• 1-3 years work history within the investment management sector
• Experience in TCA or best execution
• Mathematically minded
• Industry qualification such as IMC or CFA
• Comfortable with working with large data and proven experience of this
• Knowledge of either Power BI, VBA, Sharepoint or other data mining tools
