Job description

Our client is a successful and well-established leading manufacturer, they are looking for someone to join them as a Bench Technician. The main purpose of the Bench Technician role is to test, repair and install the active products that they manufacture.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF:

  2. You are skilled with a wide variety of hand and power tools
  3. You have previous experience of working in a production/manufacturing/assembly/factory role

Salary: £24,336

Hours of work: Day shift only

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for testing and repairing all active products and systems
  2. Contribute to modification improvements to products
  3. Unload equipment and products from company vehicles
  4. Reassemble equipment and products
  5. Logistical awareness
  6. Accurate form/documentation filling
  7. Participate in continual training and development across the product range
  8. Any other duties in line with the demands of the business

Required Experience:

  1. Skilled with a wide range of hand and power tools
  2. Previous experience of working in a production/manufacturing/assembly/factory role
  3. Experience in Stock Control procedures would be an advantage
  4. A good communicator with the ability to work under pressure

This role would suit someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
