Typical Responsibilities:

1. Making and fitting a variety of boat furniture across a range of luxury yachts.

Day to Day Duties and Responsibilities of the Bench Joiner:

1. Reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
2. Making internal and external yacht furniture.
3. Making cabin doors and sole bearers.
4. Occasional painting.
5. Assisting colleagues within the department and throughout the oyster group where necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements for the Bench Joiner:

1. Must be able to work to a very high standard.
2. Be able to read and work from drawings.
3. Be experienced in both bench joinery and final fit out.
4. Have worked on re-fit of new build yachts.
