Pay: £16-18 inclusive of shift premium

Shift: Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00 (Early finish on Friday 13:00)

Location: Leicester

We are looking for a Bench Hand Joiner to join our client based in Leicester on a permanent contract, on morning shift. Our client is a manufacturer of all interior products for hotels, commercial businesses, and restaurants/bars. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

1. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood components to create furniture, doors, windows, and other wood-based products.
2. Operate various hand tools (e.g., saws, planes, chisels) and power machines (e.g., drills, sanders) to perform joinery tasks with precision.
3. Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate construction of wooden items.
4. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
5. Prepare and maintain tools and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition for efficient production.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Bench Hand Joiner in the construction industry.
2. Must have own hand power tools.
3. Experience of using hand/air tools.
4. Experience of using measuring systems to ensure quality adherence.
5. Worked with all types of wood.
