Location: Enfield
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Pay: 95-100 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Duration: Until July 2025 (with potential for a permanent role)

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Enfield. This is a full-time position available from May to cover a staff member who will be away and presents an opportunity to support students with behavioural needs, helping them to develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support for students exhibiting challenging behaviour
- Maintain a proactive presence around the school to encourage positive conduct
- Address low-level disruptions and help establish a focused classroom environment
- Support students with strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour
- Supervise students in the isolation room, ensuring they remain engaged with their learning
- Lead and manage detention sessions effectively
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a Behaviour Mentor role or similar position within a secondary school
- Be confident, compassionate, and assertive, with strong skills in setting boundaries
- Demonstrate excellent administrative ability; knowledge of SIMS is an advantage
- Be consistent, dependable, and supportive, providing stability to students who need it most
- Be physically active and comfortable moving throughout the school day to support behaviour management
