Beacon Art Centre's Young Company invites Writers to get in touch to pitch their portfolio to create new work in 2025 with our Young People.

We are Beacon Young Company, a diverse youth theatre group based in the wonderful town of Greenock, Inverclyde. We make and perform a variety of theatre projects in our brilliant home theatre, Beacon Arts Centre. We are a collaborative group who are excited to work with a Writer on a new piece of work.

Beacon Young Company wants to create a piece of work portraying teens in a positive light, showcasing positive queer relationships and representations of young people. We want to work with a collaborative, innovative writer who is committed to working with us to create an exciting play with young people at its heart. We look forward to hearing your interests, your previous work, and why you want to collaborate on this new project with us. We are excited to discover and embark on this new project together.

Contract: Freelance
Commitment: 6 days
Fee: Freelance fee of £900
