Bartender at Hydra Estiatorio

As the famous Greek Poet Homer best said, “Wine can of their wits, the wise beguile, make the sage frolic, and the serious smile.” This is the axiom to Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean. You will find a carefully curated wine list that boasts more than 100 labels from Greece, Canada, the US, & Europe. Not a wine drinker…not a problem, Hydra Wine Bar will also focus on mixologist crafted classic cocktails coupled with fresh, light meze fare.

We are currently seeking BARTENDERS that meet these key requirements:

1. Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service
2. Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a comparable atmosphere and comfortable serving table tables as well as the bar.
3. Certification in liquor, wine and food service courses is an asset
4. Excellent wine and cocktail knowledge
5. WSET certification is an asset
6. Must be passionate about food and people
7. Possess strong communication skills with a genuine personality
8. Ability to suggestively sell beverages and wines
9. Shifts will only start in late afternoons
