Barista/Bartender

Neighbourhood Bakehouse is a Brunch Restaurant / Deli by Day and evening service by night with live jazz bands and private parties, on Northgate street Chester, selling homemade cakes, pastries, fresh bread, deli produce.

Neighbourhood is seeking an experienced Bartender / Barista to join our team in Chester. This position is a dual role with experience previously working on a bar preparing cocktails & pouring wines whilst being extremely vigilant with age restrictions, following our challenge 25 policy.

We open 7 days per week serving Brunch & deli goods for take away, therefore some shifts will be allocated for barista role & serving customers.

We are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista duties include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders.

The role involves working shifts across the week, we are open Monday - Sunday with our Evening Service on Fridays and Saturdays.

The role will be 3 sometimes 4 shifts per week, ranging from 25+ hours dependent on the needs of the business. Availability on the weekends is highly important.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday to Sunday from 8 am to 11 pm

Pay: Up to £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
