Job description

Do you have a background in hospitality and a passion for teaching? We’re looking for a Barista & Hospitality Teacher to deliver hands-on, accredited training to young learners at HMYOI Feltham.

In this role, you’ll teach vocational Barista and Hospitality courses from Entry Level to Level 3, giving learners practical, real-world skills they can carry into employment. You’ll work with small class sizes, providing tailored support, building confidence, and making a positive difference in their lives.

Your role will also involve planning engaging lessons, developing learning materials, supporting learners one-on-one and in groups, and contributing to curriculum design alongside a wider supportive team.

You’ll need to be occupationally competent in hospitality or barista work and hold a recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, QTLS or equivalent). Experience working in secure environments is a plus but not essential—what we’re really looking for is energy, empathy, and a genuine desire to help young people grow.

Rewarding You…
Enjoy 40 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), a healthcare cash plan (claim back up to £80/year on dental or optical care), a matched pension scheme (4–6%), life assurance at 3x your salary, and enhanced sick pay. A role where your impact—and rewards—go hand in hand.
