Job description

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for Defence on a part-time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers.
2. Keeping the bar area clean.
3. Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards).
4. Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator.
5. Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates.
6. Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques.
7. Checking if brewing equipment operates properly and reporting any maintenance needs.
8. Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image.
9. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
10. Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
