Offering exceptional service and world-class hospitality, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests.

The Role: As a Bartender at The Adelphi, you will be at the heart of our guests' experience, offering outstanding service and expertly crafted beverages in a sophisticated, luxury environment. This role requires a deep knowledge of wines, cocktails, and spirits, with a keen interest in keeping up with the latest trends in mixology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including wines, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
• Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of wine pairings, cocktail ingredients, and various spirits.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in mixology and provide recommendations to guests.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including inventory control.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a bartender in a high-end or luxury hotel or bar environment is essential.
• A passion for wines, cocktails, and spirits, with an interest in mixology and the art of beverage crafting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring each drink is crafted to perfection.
• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Experience with high-end wine service, including knowledge of global wine regions and varietals.
• Certifications in bartending or mixology are a plus.
