Job Introduction
Sodexo Live have an exciting new opportunity for an Operations/Sports Bar Manager to be based at DW Stadium. Whelan’s Sports Bar is a brand-new area within this awesome stadium, the home to Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors. Here you will manage and run the Sports Bar on match day and non-match days managing the services and teams to ensure business deadlines and targets are met.
This is a great opportunity for someone to take ownership and accountability within this popular destination. It would be ideal for someone who has bar work management experience within a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to prioritise workloads effectively with good attention to detail and great planning skills. Excellent communications skills will be key as you lead the team by example and take responsibility when needed, acting with initiative, demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
