Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing high-volume bar environments. Experience in crafting cocktails that complement bold and spicy cuisines is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
   1. Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service from opening to closing.
   2. Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and service.
   3. Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders to ensure adequate supplies.
2. Team Leadership:
   1. Recruit, train, and mentor bar staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
   2. Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
   3. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
3. Financial Oversight:
   1. Manage the bar's budget, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
   2. Analyze sales figures and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
   3. Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
4. Customer Engagement:
   1. Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing any complaints or issues promptly.
   2. Develop and maintain relationships with regular patrons.
   3. Organize and promote special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract and retain customers.
5. Compliance and Safety:
   1. Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of beverages.
   2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing laws and ensure the bar operates within legal requirements.
   3. Implement and oversee security measures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
